Radio Registration question

Options
I'm helping a friend with this issue and I'm sure it has already been asked but i'd like to ask anyway. My friend previously owned a 6600M. He sold it a while ago and just recently bought another 6600M. My question is this How does he "un-register" the previous radio and then register the new radio? Please let me know if this is something that can be done without a helpdesk ticket.

Thanks!

    hey Mike

i did quick read of helpdesk info you provided...if he doesnt have physical possession of the radio he wont be able to unregister it , because it required that the ptt be activated at a certain point in the process....

any way around that part of the process other than setting up an other account??

Inquiring minds would like to know.. ( aka me )

The quickest way is to ask the new owner to register the radio to himself. That will change the registration.

If that doesn't work, then please open a support ticket and see if they can do it manually.
