Issues with Radiosport headset and Maestro

Hi All,

I have an issue with my Radiosport headset in combination with Maestro.

Headset is connected to M-MIC2.

When I push PTT, the spectrum indicates something and if I enable MON there is a humming sound. But no modulation, no power out/carrier is indicated. See picture.

Yesterday it worked just fine when I tried the same settings as I have now.

  • Running remote
  • RadioSport WIDE M350-ADJ mic profile (worked Yesterday)
  • BIAS off
  • +20db gain off
  • When using the FHM-2 hand mic, connected to M-MIC1 it works perfect.

Any ideas what to try next?

This seems normal and is just a minor amount of noise. I see the same thing.

As you have noticed, no RF is emitted.

I don't think it is anything to worry about and is just optics. But, if you are concerned, please open a support ticket.

    Hi Mike,

I might been a little unclear. The problem was that I could not get any modulation out. But problem i solved, thanks to the crew at https://pileupdx.com/ I had the wrong cable between headset and the Maestro. Now it works great. I can finally use my nice headset! :D
