How do I protect port forwarding to restrict access?

How do I protect UDP ports forwarded to N1MM on a router to restrict access? I am hesitant to open these ports on the router to gain access remotely to N1MM when no password is being used in N1MM from what I can determine. I really don't want to use MAC address filtering for the network unless that can be used only for a specific port.

    I would ask this on the N1MM email reflector.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
