6600M screen & panel leds. Can I shut them down?

I recently obtained a 6600M after lightning destroyed my 6600. I always ran the 6600 as a radio server, but with the 6600M I can do that also but dont want the screen & led illumination when I am doing that.

I think I saw them automatically go off until rebooted but cant find if there is a setting for time to shut the illumination down.

Thanks for the help.

John

If you want to set a timed display, the timer setting is accessed at main menu - Front Panel - Advanced Display - Profiles - Select Trigger = Time - Settings = Display - Power mode = Plugged In - Recurrence and Time at your discretion - Save.

In the main menu “Front Panel” tab, disable the “Button Backlight” button to turn off the LEDs. I don’t think you can turn off the panel display.

Thanks Neil. I knew about that but encountered seemingly an automatic shutdown of the front panel and screen illumnation. I left the radio on overnight last night and at 5A all was off accept the power button. I shut down the radio, restarted it around 8A and the illumination is back on again.

I'll leave it on and see if I can determine if there is a timer setting and if so will inquire directly about that.
