6400M transmit hang up

Morning to the group, I'm setting up for the NAQP RTTY contest tomorrow. I've got the Flex working with N1MM and MMtty without a problem. As I test the transmit, the M doesn't drop transmit, I have to tap the MOX button once or twice to have it drop out.
What am I doing wrong? Using SmartControl, so that I can use the desktop and mouse to select signals. Your help appreciated, John, W2VTV

    Usually, this happens when the APP doesn't send an unKey command.

    What method are you using to key and unkey the radio? RS232 or CAT?

    That would be the first place I would look.
