TGXL Power-On Delay

Member ✭
I got the TGXL recently and when the main PS unit gets turned ON, the TGXL would go crazy by running the fans at full speed and nothing comes up on the screen. I had to turn off the small rear switch to power down and turn it back on.
I wrote to helpdesk & Dan N7HQ replied that
"Remote power control for the TGXL requires that you interrupt the DC source, not the AC for an attached power supply, Many AC supplies ramp their DC output voltage which can trip the power watchdog of the TGXL microprocessor"
as I currently do not have a switchable DC PDU a quick fix was to put in a small delay timer. I got this NE555 based delay module https://www.amazon.com/HiLetgo-Switch-Adjustable-Module-Second/dp/B01DK8NJNI/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2FBYYCQKPTOUR&keywords=ne555+timer+relay&qid=1652349676&sprefix=ne555+timer+rel%2Caps%2C484&sr=8-5 which I have set up for 5 seconds delay to power up the TGXL.
This solution works fine for me as of now until I get a DC PDU with some remote(4005i rig runner type) / built-in delay function.
