Preselectors with DEMI/Q5 432 Transverter on 6700

Is there a way to enable the 6700 Preselectors in the amateur bands when used with a DEMI/Q5 432 Transverter?

Right now, the preselectors appear to work in the 452MHz to 460MHz range.

6700 Settings are: RF Freq - 432.000, IF - 28.000, LO - 404.000

So, the Preselectors work in the 48-56MHz range but not the 36-44MHz range.

Everything in the UHF/70cm ham bands is received in WIDE mode.

Is there a way to change where the preselectors operate? They sure could be used in the amateur bands.

The filters only help if you are getting signals from out of the 28 MHz band into the radio and that they are strong enough to interfere.

Normally if you are seeing a bunch of interference, it is either coming in at 28 MHz or coming in at 70 cm. In either case the 28 MHz bandpass filter does not help.

So the direct answer to your question is no, the bandpass filters cannot be tuned - they are fixed.

Do you know if the interference that you show in your PDF file is coming in at 445 MHz or on the IF freq of 28 ish MHz? It kind of looks more like a 445 MHz sig to me.

I am pretty sure that it is not on some other frequency unless you are very close to a commercial radio site.
