RS-232 to Ethernet Adaptors

I just got my Tuner Genius...an outstanding purchase! It works seemlessly with my 6600 & Antenna Genius.

Presently, I have the 6600 on port A and a Yaesu FTdx101MP on port B. Both work. My issue is with the FTdx101MP. It works fine with RF Sense or BCD connections. I would like to have the functionality of the 6600...the frequency data. It is better then just the BCD band data.

Has anyone used an RS232 to Ethernet Adaptor. Is it possible to connect one to the Yaesu RS-232 port and then connect it to the Ethernet port to the LAN. Would this be a viable way to get frequency data from the radio to the tuner or is it a gross oversimplification?

If it is not feasible, how can I get band data from the Yaesu to the Antenna Genius, the Tuner Genius and an Expert 2K amp simultaneously?

    In theory, this will work. You may have to use a pair of these on each end. A buddy of mine is using a pair of these that connect to each other.

    The price is right, but the documentation is thin. I'm sure others have ones they can recommend.

    It won't work for BCD band data, but it will for RS232 CAT data. Again, you will need a pair correctly configured.

    I’ve used a few RS-233/Ethernet adaptors with my old Palstar HF-Auto in the past. The first two brands I tried (StarTech and another I can’t remember) did not work very well, had to restart the units all the time etc. BUT after I bought a Moxa adapter, I did not have a single hiccup for several years. It just worked.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
