PGXL and Icom CTV communication failures

So here to is an issue now almost 2 years old. What’s most bothersome is the existence of the solution. The TGXL FW does communicate with all the ICOM radios. Why isn’t that portion of code being transferred to the PGXL software???

”working on it” is an utterly insulting response at this point.

I don't have an answer you will like sadly. However, we have been in very detailed meetings regarding this problem (and, another once today) to scope the failing scenario. This will not be a trivial software fix is about all I can say.

The TGXL expects certain RF and Icom radios behavior expects certain things as well. Maybe this is why there is a physical hardware tuner connector on the back of all Icom radios.

We would love Icom to fix some design issues that would help, but it is impossible to reach out to their development engineers as they are behind a double super secret firewall it seems. It would be much easier if we could collaborate but that will be an impossibility. All they will say is our stuff works with our stuff.
