SmartSDR doesn't release COM 4.

After my disk gave a lot of problems, I first uninstalled SmartSDR and after restarting the PC, I installed the latest version v3.2.31.

After starting up SmartSDR, I have no option in CAT: COM 4 to select to have SMARTSDR communicate with my computer.

Can anyone help me fix this problem.

Can you post a picture of your Com ports from Device Manager please. It sounds like there is come corruption on your Windows computer based on your comments.

Here's my little batch file which semi-automates the process a bit.

ghost.txt

You'll have to change the extension to " .bat " since batch files are not allowed here.
