Virtual Serial Port Com4 not present

in SmartSDR for Windows

Hi members after a reinstallation, COM 4 has disappeared and is therefore not selectable.

What can I do to fix that.

    Solved:

    Found in FLEX community:

    1. Shut down SmartSDR CAT and SmartSDR (for that matter, close app open programs)
    2. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to where the installer is located
    3. The path is \Program Files\FlexRadio Systems\FlexVSP
    4. In that folder is the file: FlexVSPInstaller_xx.msi
    5. (where "xx" is 32 or 64 depending if your operating systems is a 32 or 64 bit.)
    6. Right click on it to get the context menu
    7. Select the Repair option
    8. Answer YES to any prompt and then wait while the repair executes. It may take a little while.
    9. When prompted to reboot your PC, select YES and reboot.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
