It is getting down right ridiculous that we people who own Flex radios have to wait 2+ years to get this friggin issue with the antenna tuner fixed. It is useless the way it is and I wish Flex would get off its you know what and get it done. There is no excuse for it and you are selling NEW defective equipment. Maybe you should start reimbursing people who go buy a tuner that works??

Steve: It seems to me that you have purchased and sold several Flex radios in the last few years. Why do you constantly sell them and buy them again if you believe there are bugs. You should just sell your Flex and by the Yaesu again that you previously had.

For some of us who have admittedly bought and sold Flex radios several times, it is a love hate relationship!

There are many positive aspects of the Flex that work well. On the other hand there are many bugs and quirks that are waiting for fixes. In the mean time, you have learn to accept and work with some of the problems. For some, there are work arounds that can be used. The list is long and we are still waiting!

As to the tuner problems, I personally was never satisfied with how they worked. The answer for me was to go with external tuners. That always work flawlessly for me.

Radios from other manufacturers have their problems, we know that and may never get fixed, so you have to live with them. One of selling point for Flex is that it will have on going updates to fix problems and keep the radio up to date. "Upgrading the software and firmware can give you a whole new radio." We're waiting and hoping that the next update from Flex will really bring the fixes wanted!
