Record My CW Sending

Member ✭✭✭

I'm trying to record me sending CW with Audacity. It seems as though the only DAX sources are DAX RX channels.

Any suggestions?

    Geoff,

To record actual transmitted signal , use the “FDX” in lower left corner, open a second panadapter , set the DAX to 2, RX antenna to “XVTR” , frequency to the required tone, enable slice B in DAX control panel, Audacity to DAX Audio 2. Now you will record your actual transmitted signal. You can mute the audio output of pan B so the slight delay won’t upset your sending , but your brain can eventually figure it out .

    This should help,

    Hey Dudley,

That makes sense and it did not occur to me to try that approach.

    I'll give it a shot.

    Thanks es 73,
