Utility mouse control of Band Switching
I am using my PGXL with several vintage radios. Right now whenever I want to change operating bands it is necessary for me to physically switch the band manually using the touch screen. That process works as it should but it is a hassle. Since I have placed my amp in a location away from my operating position (due to the loud fan noise) it would be very nice to be able to switch the band with a mouse click on the utility interface. We can currently switch the operating class AB, AAB with a mouse click, why not let us switch the band? Or is that already possible and I'm missing something.
Thanks & 73

The PGXL has RF sensing to change bands. If the exciters cannot provide band data to the amplifier via CAT or BCD, then I recommend using the RF sensing capability of the amp to change bands. it is more foolproof than manually switching bands and is faster too.
