Is there one document available that covers the remote set up, operation and control of a 6400M?

    @Ike Lawton

    Page 43 Section 10 SMARTLINK of the 6400M/6600M User Guide. Also look at look at page 23 section 9 of the SmartSDR v3 Users guide.

    For some good insights, Mike, VA3MW has done some good videos on YouTube about his remote operation. Search FlexRadio.

    Can the 6400 be powered off via the ethernet port, with the ethernet port remaining active to turn the 6400 back on again? If so, what is the 6400 power draw in the off state? I'm looking at remote 12V battery operation, and don't want to drain the battery.

    Only thing I can find is when it's on. 1.7A in receive.

    The remote on port does this, but not the Ethernet port.

    @agoris , I use a cheap 4channel WiFi connected switch to remotely power up my 6400. I got it on Amazon for $20 or so. I can use my smart phone to turn the rig on and off. I use the other three ports to switch among 3 antennas.

    I don't know how much current the rig draws in the off state, but it can't be much. If you have an ammeter, take a look to see what it draws.
