How to connect a key/keyer to Mac or iPad

Newbie here. I will be controlling my 6600 from a MAC using one of the Mac O/S paid software programs. How do I connect my WinKeyer (or straight key) to my Mac? I've skimmed the SDR and hardware documents and don't see it.

Section 7.1 of the on-line documentation.

    Enjoy!

Sorry, not getting it. I see "licensing" in one document, and "power connections" in the other. Would you mind sending the link, please? Again, I want to connect a key to my Mac (or even a Windows machine for that matter) then remote to the 6600.

Ah-ha. I found this in section 21.5 of the SmartSDR Software User Guide. I believe it answers my question.
"At present, there is no feature to attach a key or paddles to the PC to operate CW remotely."

It would be great if there was a way to CW remotely without a Maestro

Take a look at the Remote Keyer Interface group. I built one for windows and it works great. I think someone has figured out how to make it work for Mac as well.

I found this informative thread on the Remote Keyer Interface thread on Groups:

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
