provide function to restore CAT, DAX and SSDR settings files

Provide a function to save (or auto save) and restore the CAT, DAX and SSDR setting files.

Windows updates are corrupting the setting files , in particular CAT, which then requires manually restoring from a backup,  if one exists,  or recreating all the CAT ports.

SSDR should auto save the setting files whenever a change is made or on demand. A list of the backups could then be displayed with an option to restore from the one that the user selects.

This would eliminate a lot of headaches with Flex owners as well as reduce trouble tickets.

    Pat,

The data is already saved on your pc.  Here is the location:
    usersyournameappdata
    oamingflexradiosystems

If the files are being corrupted by windows updates you need to address that your self.  Please see the following support doc on how to repair missing or corrupted files.

Tim,  I found it.  I will tell you one thing I really like about how you handle the settings is that when I upgraded from my 6400 to a 6600 the settings ported right over.   It was plug and play...

@marco rinaldi The Profile Manager program was generating false positive hits on several virus scanning programs so it has been removed from the web site until we can resolve this issue.
