My 6600M will not transmit or receive.

    Correct Fred..this is one of the main reasons Flex went to thin client and this type of hardware. As we all use thin client SSDR and the same hardware, if something is wrong in the software update we all would see it. So for everyone on a 6500 they would all have the same problems as a rule for example. This makes it much better for troubleshooting For Flex staff.
    But it is most common for people to blame an update for a problem even though they may be the only person with that problem.

    This problem was fixed months ago sorry I did comment on the great repair job Flex did for me. All is well now and the radio has been working flawlessly after the PIN was done. I hope this answers any further questions or comment on this subject. Thanks again to all who sought to help. 73 all.

    i think he meant to PEN....which is Product Enhancement Notice...

    There was one issued regard the heat sink on the ADC and another for update to some caps for improved s/n

    i sent my 6600m back for those update FREE of charge to Flex
