Does Flex 5000a cope well with 8 Ohm headphones ?

Internal radio headphones jack is for 16 Ohm headphones.
Impedance matching with load lesser than 16 Ohm might lead to amp damage.
Has anyone used 8 Ohm headsets or BHI dual in line ( it has 8 Ohm input line) with flex 5000a?
Thanks.
Matteo.

Doesn't seem to matter. I use headphones of various impedances and see no differences. try it0

Thanks K2CM, i'll give a try, my concerns are not in term of audio signal, but rather in term of safe operations (from radio point of view).
I deduce you still haven't burned radio headphones amp circuit

I have had the 5000, 3000, 1500, and now the 6400M. All of the headphone circuits are robust and will tolerate headphones of any impedance. I have accidentally short circuited the headphone jack without damage.
Your headphones will not damage your radio.
