Hi sounds good,,how does it connect to the Flex, a usb dongle transmitter.?

I've followed the instructions here: https://hackaday.com/2020/02/16/closed-ham-radio-peripheral-reveals-its-windows-secrets/ and no usb dongle, just the BT interface inside the Maestro (Dell tablet)2
-
However if I recall Flex has made it clear a Maestro or an M model warranty will be impacted if sent into Flex with issues

Maybe Flex could incorporate a Bluetooth section in their Menu System4
-
Let me remove any ambiguity. The hardware warranty will not be simply impacted, but voided and could have additional support ramficiations too.0

Tim I'm curious why FRS didn't take advantage of the BT feature in the Maestro. Seems like this would add a nice selling point.

What ever you do don't hold your breath waiting...0

There is a safer way to add Bluetooth to the Maestro which will not impact the warranty.
I posted this message a few months ago.
All you need is the full duplex :
ClearSounds Qconnect CLG92. Around $37.00 from Amazon
It has along battery life and charges through a micro usb cable.
Here is the link from my post:

With reference to the photo shown, the external 12V battery and remote camera shutter are not related to the Bluetooth setup. All you need is the CLG92 and simple interface cable as described.

The Maestro is a closed system. Before adding peripherals of any kind, the engineering team tests the device to ensure that it has no negative effect on the Maestro's performance. We have been planning to qualify some BT devices for the MAestro, but that capability has not been added to the software.0

This is a very viable option for using a BT headset.0

People have been asking for Bluetooth support for the Maestro for over 4 years now?
