Unhandled Error SmartSDR CAT (v3.1.8.221)

I am now receiving the familiar unhandled error message. The invocation of the constructor on type 'CatWPF.MainWindow' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception.
Inner exception: Trial period is expired.
Program is disabled now.
I did a complete uninstall of all SmartSDR files with RevoUninstaller.  Left FlexVSP in place.
Reinstalled with fresh SmartSDR 3.18 installer download.  CAT is still disabled.  I did not experience this with 3.17.

Using 6600M with 3.18 installed in the transceiver.
Function using the 6600M by itself is uneffected.
How should I proceed to fix this?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
