Maestro sidetone question

Hello,
I am very close to buying a Maestro (end of the year) but a question comes up quite often about the CW sidetone who would have a terrible sound. For my part I currently use a WinKeyer from www.hamcrafters.com, and the CW sidetone is generated by it, which suits me better than the iambic internal generator of the Flex6500 (I must admit that I like the cw but that I am not a very good telegraphist!). Please my question is: can I connect my WinKeyer to the Maestro and cut the sound of the CW sidetone internal Maestro? Thank you, Jean-Luc

Yes, you can.
Connect the phono plug from the Winkeyer to an adapter that has an input of two phono jacks and an output of a 1/8" stereo plug.
Plug the adapter into the Maestro.
On the Maestro Menu > Phone/CW turn off Iambic.
On the Maestro touch the RF PWR to bring up the transmit window and turn off the Maestro sidetone.
