Recording a QSO

Earlier versions of SSDR saved the recorded audio of a qso. I've looked everywhere and cannot find any associated file. Has this been revised?

    I am not  aware SSDR saved an audio file. I know PSDR does.

    The FLEX-6000 Quick Record audio files are stored in the radio!

    Stored  in radio  until you record again and can't be accessed at a later date. The Power SDR had the record save feature, I wish that was back... Oh well. Use Audacity. that will record and save files.

    I record all of our satellite to QSOs with the freeware program called Audacity. Just route your DAX audio inputs and outputs to that program. This also Allows you to save files off-line. 73 Mack W4AX Alpha Team

     Mack Yes, Audacity works great. It's a bit tricky to figure out but, as the old Power SDR was  just click and save record but now with Smart SDR  using Audacity, once you get it working yes It's the Cats meow..... Audacity running along with DAX. And just a note!!!!! If you have Dax clicked on and want to transmit the recorded audio, you can use VOX and it will key the radio once the audio you are playing starts. AHH the old days of Flex, I use to love how the old Flex 5000A using Power SDR had those superior recording features. Many Many many Power SDR users had no Idea that  you could actually record a large portion of the band and save it and at a later time I could go right back to the saved file and play it and actually tune the VFO just as if it was live and listen to the band, Just kinda like TEVO  but for radio. Yes Power SDR did and still has this unique feature, I have recorded  for 10 hours at a time and go back to it and use my VFO to listen to the past. plus,  the band scope and waterfall was recorded also.... Bet a lot of you guys did not know that. But now you do........ Bring it to Smart SDR... I miss it. Not sure if that is possible now with the newer Flex and Smart SDR. as that was and is a wonderful feature when you just want to listen when the band is bad. You could go back in time and do everything except transmit...LOL.

    And with the exception of Smart link, Power SDR had features that was way ahead of it's time. I know that the design and look of Smart SDR is cool and the RX is somewhat more superior and the remote capability's are incredibly useful but Power SDR had a ton of features we don't see with Smart SDR. Too bad we can't have the best of both as it was awesome. That is a sore spot for me as I love the way the 5000A operated with Power SDR.. All the good features are gone, Don't get me wrong, I love my Flex 6300 but I just always wish it had those exceptional features that the old Power SRD had. If you had a 5000 you know exactly what I am talking about... It's only a dream now guys. If Flex took the best features of both Power SDR and Smart SDR they would sell double of what they are selling now, IMO.... Anyone want to add to this? I would love to hear your opinions.. 73

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
