! PC Audio ?

I loaded SSDR v2.4.9 on a new Dell laptop this morning.  Everything seems to be working fine except I can't get audio to come out of the laptop speakers.  Instead the audio is coming out of PC shack speakers connected to my Flex-6700, and in the upper right corner of the laptop screen SSDR indicates ! PC Audio and clicking on this button does nothing.  DAX is indicating Slice A is streaming normally and Device Manager shows Ports 4 and 104 are mapped to SSDR and are operating normally.  Evidently I'm missing something.  Any ideas?

Check your audio output device on your PC.  Make sure it is set to the PC speakers.  I have only seen that when I did not have a valid output device selected.

Thanks Chuck.  For some crazy reason my laptop had shifted its output audio to MIC.  When I reset it for internal speakers I was able to hear the radio audio through the laptop speakers.

Isn't Windows great. It always generates a project to keep us old retired people busy.

Windows seems to make an assumption that last audio device installed ( or plugged in ) should be the default device.

Yeah, I don't like that. Windows must think, once the user gets it set they're done. Just doesn't work that way for us techies.
