How to connect an ALS-606 to my Flex 6400M

I am trying to connect my ALS 606 to a Flex 6400M.

The usb to serial cable has been setup as per the Ameritron web site.
Settings are: Cable Type:BCD , Source: Active Slice, Type HF_BCD, and Polarity: Low.

I have been unable to get this setup to use the auto band function of the ALS-606.

Has anyone been successful using the auto band switching function on the ALS-606?
I must be missing something.

Thanks
Al

Please see my post. I have a 6300 Flex radio. You have to use CAT PROTOCOL and cabling . Ameritron has a new USB cable for the Flex 6xxx radios. I am ok on qrz dot com W7ZAC KEITH

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
