In FT8 mode when going to xmit, slice freq goes from 14074 to 14073.5..
Freq in FT8 panel also shows 14073.5 in xmit. I am able to make contacts but
don't know why freq is shifting. Any ideas. Just started doing this. Work normal
before.

You probably have your software set to “fake it”. In check this1
-
This is normal and expected behavior. The application adjusts your dial frequency to keep your tones centred in the rig’s audio passband. Not as big a deal for Flex rigs, but some conventional SSB transmitters have more restrictive audio characteristics.2

It's in section 4.2 of the WSJT-X user guide:
http://www.physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/wsjtx-doc/wsjtx-main-1.7.1-devel.htmlSplit Operation: Significant advantages result from using Split mode (separate VFOs for Rx and Tx) if your radio supports it. If it does not, WSJT-X can emulate such behavior. Either method will result in a cleaner transmitted signal, by keeping the Tx audio always in the range 1500 to 2000 Hz so that audio harmonics cannot pass through the Tx sideband filter. Select Rig to use the radio’s Split mode, or Fake It to have WSJT-X adjust the VFO frequency as needed, when T/R switching occurs. Choose None if you do not wish to use split operation.

Well it was working fine with fake it too. Just different. Either is fine.
