    Heil PRb781 - Mic Bias?

    Heil PR 781 mic plugged into Flex 6600M balanced input (1/4 inch) connector.  Mic bias on or off? Thanks.

      You only need the bias if it is an Electret mic
      The PR781 employs a Heil PR dynamic mic element . . . You do not need bias on

      Steve is correct.
      In fact, If you are using the 1/4-inch balanced connector, the Mic bias makes no difference, because no bias is applied to the 6600's 1/4-inch balanced connector, only to the 1/8-inch "pseudo-balanced" connector.
