USB-cable ?
Options
Hello,
I have a problem with Flex-6300 from a friend. I explain to you. He installed the latest version of Smart-SDR 1.11.12, he is under windows 7 and an Ultrabeam antenna. We have to connect Flex with the Ultrabeam box with the recommended cable.
Unfortunately, its cable does not appear in the USB-cable window. Do you have some ideas ?
Thanks

The USB cable must use an FTDI chipset to be recognized. 73, Mack W4AX Alpha Team2

If it is a good FTDI chipset then I would see if you have another one to try just in case it is defective. If you have done all ready I would then open a helpdesk ticket to assist in diagnosis.1

Yes I think there is a cable problem because at home it works and so another ham radio that has the same configuration.

I found a source of inexpensive quality USB to RS232 converters. I cut the cable to required length and replace RJ 45 connector with a DB9 plug.
