Festivus IS the perfect ham holiday! Airing of grievances - we got that (75 meters?) Feats of strength - That too. Sitting hours in the chair to talk to as many random strangers as possible, making trips to the Antarctic, middle east, or the middle of Africa just to make radio contacts, and finally - dimming the lights with your amplifier just so the other end can hear your signal report and you can collect a piece of paper. And finally - the whole holiday revolves around an aluminum pole!!! Hellooooo can you say vertical antenna?
