Remote ON/off when a flex is a Ghost on Smartlink

I came back from the summer holidays and wanted to use my flex 2.0 with smartlink, well all the fascinating first days but then suddenly I no longer see my flex on smartlink, there was no way to retrieve, I even tried to reset my Connection, restart the FritzBox router which via my LAN my Flex 6500 is always connected, now that I'm back I found it on but locked I was forced to press the shutdown button for a while to turn it off, I wonder what it was, But in fact it had already happened, but I was standing in front of it and did not give it weight to it, but it did not really matter if it was not possible to remotely retrieve, how can I fix it? I thought about switching on and off via Remote But I do not know how to do it, FRS has something in mind for that? Greetings

In my debugging of firewall issues, I managed to do the same thing this week.  The fix was to remote power cycle the radio, something I can do easily with my remoteqth server (www.remoteqth.com).  Flex makes it easy with the RCA connector on the back of the radio.

Welcome to the world of remote operating.   I do discuss this on the podcast I just did on 360 Ham Radio.

That being said, FRS, is aware of the problem and it will be addressed (there is a bug open).

This is why I have both a remote controlled relay to toggle the remote on/off RCA connector but also a digital loggers web switch to cycle the 12V power.

I always try now days to first toggle the RCA connector and wait a while.  If the radio does not come back on I turn off the RCA connector, then cycle the 12V power.  Then turn on the RCA connector.

It has never failed to work.  The web power switch I use:
