Hello!!...6300 + SPE Expert 1.3Kfa

well, finally I decided to give up Dan's cable...It was working...following TXslide...tuning through SPE software but I wanted to continue using my DDutil 3.2.5.01.....I made the cable according instructions......and good,  turn on and off  Amplifier, Input change .....Standby to  Op.....shows temperature, change bands.....but.....not tune,.....I click the button...SPE Beeps.....but no RF go to amplifier to tune.....flex doesn't respond to.... I double check phono cable from relay to TX on my flex.....with Dan's cable everything was working smoothly ...now....I did a mess...

Any advice?

Im not using ddutil at the moment, but when I got my spe I had a similar problem.
Ddutil will turn off the tx1 enable on the flex.  Go to the ddutil>setup>autodrive tab on the left side its one of the boxes needs to be ticked.  I have manual tx ticked atm, it may be that one but im not sure if thats the one, as im not using it.  I use the spe with the usb cable to control it. Someone else will probably chime in with the answer, but try that

When you press tune on the amp you have to manually press tune on SmartSDR. Once tuned it's in the memories and once you have a CAT cable it will detect the frequency and automatically recall the tuner setting from memory.

Oh, that. If you're using DDutil you need to disable "bypass on band change" which is designed to protect tube amps from forgetful operators who may just change bands and then forget to retune their amp.

Uncheck the box that says "BOBC" and it shouldn't do that anymore.
