PowerGenius XLTM and PoE
Options
Since the amp uses 48V DMOS transistors and PoE is 48V it would be great if the amp could run from the PoE and not have to run a separate power line. Please vote for this idea.
FYI: at a certain So CA semiconductor house a large NXP tractor trailer was seen. Me thinks he was loading a truck load of the aforementioned transistors and heading over to Austin way.

Whew, you had me worried. A few days early, eh?
I'll play too.
Hey Flex - Please allow the use of RTL-SDR sticks on the USB ports for the 6300 and the 6500 to add a separate SCU, like the 6700 has. I know about technology and this is an easy hardware implementation. Please vote for this idea.0 -
Totally off-topic, but that is one gorgeous tractor. Looks like maybe a KW T680 w/76" sleeper. Just beautiful...0

NEWS FLASH!
FlexRadio submits a proposal to the IEEE for a new PoE standard, defined as 802.3at-2017 known as "Mack Daddy PoE" that provides up to 2.2kW of power @ 220V. This new standard will require CAT2974 cable, which is 128 twisted pairs consisting of 10 AWG solid or stranded copper wire and will support the emerging 10,000,000 Gigabit Ethernet standards. Watch this site for updates and approval status.0 -
48 Volts from the amp would be a problem from the point that it would be difficult to isolate RF feed back th at may travel as conducted and common mode RF. The 48 Voltage needs to be stable for the amp only.

Rob: That's an interesting idea you have there. If one could run multiple sticks, these could be used to watch for band openings and/or MW/SWL and not waste a more capable slice.
Rick: The tractor is a beauty. The trailer would make a great camper. The top extends up and there was also a deck on the roof making for a three deck camper.
Tim: Hope the proposal is accepted. :-)
