SLICE A / SLICE B logging frequency
K3ZJ - Dave
Member ✭✭
In CQ160 contest I was using slice A to run and slice B to tune for new stations. When I found something to work on slice B, I changed the transmit to B and worked the station. BUT the frequency entered into the logging program (N1MM+) was the frequency of abandoned slice A, not the transmit/receive frequency of slice B. So the frequency enetered is wrong. Note: this was NOT split, this was simplex using slice B. How does one correct this?

You may need to explore setting up as SO2V or SO2R. In SO2R mode, N1MM+ will set up two entry windows, one for each Slice, and log whichever slice is the active slice when you hit the enter button. I assume SO2V is similar, but I haven't messed around with it. I use SO2R mode without full duplex as what Chris Tate calls "Enhanced SO2V" mode -- both "radios" on the same band, but not operating full duplex.
