TURF file for Canada

We Canadians have access to the new 630 band but cannot transmit, hence
does Flexradio supply an updated turf file for Canada or do we need to
go through Radioworld? I will need one for the 6700 and 5000. Also is a turf file unique for each radio or one file good for 6000 series and one file good for legacy radios?

I would open a support case and ask. That would get a higher priority than the user group.

Thought the 630 TX was enabled if you selected XVTR for the TX antenna ((SmartSDR))? Will take a look later when in the shack here. 73 Steve K9ZW0

The 6000 series does not have main amplifier tuning for 630M while XVTR will put out 0dbm on any frequency.0

That makes sense, manual says up to +15dbm for frequencies below 72 mHz. Thanks guys.

usually i think it through Radioworld ,and i think file was lock to radio serial
not sure the PA was tested and calibrated for that frequency ??
but use of XVRT and class-D power amplifier may good solution
http://www.w1vd.com/137-500-KWTX.html just need to knot if it work on 630Khz

For the FLEX-6000s, the TURF file limits the transmit frequencies of the PA, so 630m is not applicable. You have to use the XVTR port and a transverter to operate outside 160-6m. Either a transverter with an 3.8 or 4 MHz IF or a low drive power amp for 630m.
There is only one TURF file for all of IARU Region 2 and that is the default one that comes with the radio
For the FLEX series radio's, to operate 630m, you must a transverter with a 3.8 MHz IF.0 -
The Flex 1500 works fine on 630m and 2200m if you provide your own RX and TX filters and a 1mw drive amplifier on the transverter and or RX ports.0

Where do you download the Turf files for the EU ???
