What rack to purchase?

I don't know the answer but I hope you don't mind a short ramble.  No clue about earthquakes.

I sure like the looks of these studio  workstations. I never saw something like this until very recently while looking for a new shack desk above and beyond a door and sawhorses. They seem made to order.

I've held off on the Studio RTA Producer Station because the price seems too low ($400 on sale). I have to wonder if it is flimsy or much smaller than the pictures portray. I've found there are many other studio desks available at different prices so I'm going to try and hit up Guitar Center or other local music stores and sit down at a desk for a while.

Envisioning the racks full of rigs, power supplies, amps and such, it looks like a dream setup. Being on wheels so you can get to the back easily enough is a nice touch. There's no issue about running cables in and out of the desk. The upper shelf on this particular model looks a little small for two 27" monitors. I do like the mini rack on the top of the desk. Seems like a good place for the rotator controller or anything that requires adjustments.



This desk looks like something that should be filled with Collins equipment.
