It is really best to provide more information regarding your error, like did it stop working after a software update, or a Windows Update.  A screen shot of the error is helpful too.

Sort of like going to the doctor and only saying "I hurt" and expecting a detailed diagnosis of your illness from that small piece of information. ;-)

So, I am going to try and prescribe a prescription for your DAX malady.

    Manually reload the DAX drivers

Joe, One of the symptoms I saw when I had the issue was during the flex update installation there were hang ups . I just went through this and I can tell you for sure on my issue it was caused by Windows 10, never had this happen before but I do know I had some win 10 updates since the last flex software update, the manual install helped me. I also had issues with smartcat as well. Hope you get it resolved. 73's Joe WD5Y

I am sorry everyone.  I started this request for help but then Windows came up and asked me if I would like them to fix the audio problem.  I say YES,  Windows said it was fixed and to reboot the computer..  Which I did but forgot to delete my note.  I never sent it but guess when things got rebooted it got sent.
    DAX problem is solved.

Thanks Joe K0BX back on RTTY
