For a "Quick-n-dirty" method....
1) Set Audacity's Output Device to "DAX TX Audio"
2) Activate DAX on the TX Panel
3) make sure the DAX TX Audio is turned ON in the DAX Control Panel
4) Record your audio.
5) Key the rig with MOX
6) Hit "Play" in Audacity...
7) Adjust audio levels appropriately via Audacity or the DAC Control Panel
Another Way:
1) Get K9DUR's excellent Voice Keyer program
2) Learn it and set it up
3) Record with Audacity
4) Export/Save the sound file as a .WAV file
5) Program one of the Voice Keyer's function keys to play the recording.
I am at the office and not in front of the shack keyer right now, so I don't have exact steps to ser up K9DUR's Voice Keyer, but it isn't very difficult. You just need to define the output sound device at DAX TX Audio, and define the COM Port for PTT.
Hope this helps...

The key for me was to start transmission with MOX and not PTT. Once you click on PTT it will stop DAX from being the transmitted source and will engage the local MIC.
I see how this makes sense.... if you are using a voice keyer and you want to stop the audio immediately with your pedal or PTT device.
@Ken or anyone that might be able to test it....
I do not have audio going from the computer to the flex radio through the ACC RCA port in the back and I wonder if you can use that source simultaneously to the MIC attached to the radio when engaging TX with PTT.

That's correct, you will only have 1 DAX TX auto device with version 1.6... you can have multiple rx audio devices0
