My flex 5000A will not drive my amp.  The amp relay kicks with PTT but, the flex will not drive it, no power out at all.

If you have output from the flex on its own, then its a keying problem, if not then make sure the  drive control on the flex software ip not on zero which means no output. On second thoughts, is the amp really going into tx  mode......Try a foot switch or key the amp another way and if still not working, try the flex on its own to see if you get rf out....

I do get rf out barefoot,  My drive is set at 50 Watts, and the amp is keying , just no rf out. Is there a transmit inhibit button or something simular that I might be overlooking?

If there is rf out confirmed on power meter, then its a problem on the amp side and or the ptt system.. Did you try a carrier or ssb? How are you keying the amp? and have you tried to key it manually.

Coax jumper connected properly? Are you able to pass that 50 watts of drive through the amp? And Is the amp connected to the selected tx antenna?
