ANF audio distortion still?

  Was this addressed and it is just my radio that has a useless ANF.  It is horrid and does not even do what its suppose to.  All it seems to do is distort the audio still.  Maybe they addressed it and something is wrong with my rig.  If not it's been far to long for this not to be repaired.  This should be a #1 priority over profiles and contest additions.  How about the basics first??  If it was fixed and its a problem with my rig My bad.  If not its a bit ridiculous it's not fixed.

    I use anf regularly in low band contests to eliminate tuner upers or carriers and have never noticed any audio distortion. Same with notch filter which i gave ro use on a regular 80m net due to a constant carrier on the net frequency. 6500 and now 1.6 on w7

     As soon as I turn mine on the SSB audio distorts and does not do a great job with the carrier.  It somewhat works.  Just curious before I send the rig in for repair.  Would hate for it to be the same problem from 2 years ago just not fixed.  Hope someone can confirm it has been addressed so i know what i need to do.

    I find the audio distorted on my 6500 as well whenever ANF is used.  I was distorted in 1.5.xx and is still distorted in 1.6.xx.  I don't find it bothersome, since I only use ANF in situations where I couldn't hear without it and am happy to be able to copy the signal.  It does usually remove the offending signal, so it works for me.

    I also find that the ANF is not doing much except distorting, My ANF on my FTDX 5000 is 100% better.

      Ok sounds as if it still has not been fixed/addressed yet.  I will put a ticket in and see what happens.  Thanks all I appreciate it.

    The ANF distortion issue did not make it into SmartSDR v1.6.17.  It will be evaluated for inclusion in the next release.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
