Does anyone know the Maestro options for vfo tuning knob rates in KHz/revolution and corresponding step sizes?

Thanks & 73,

The encoder is a dual-shaft quadrature mechanical encoder with 16PPR.  We extend this to 64PPR in software.  So if you are set for, say, 100Hz steps a full rotation will move you 6.4kHz.

Thanks Tim.  What are the step options between 10Hz and 100Hz?

They are the same as the tune step sizes provided by SmartSDR.  They are mode dependent, as narrow bandwidth modes have smaller step sizes than larger bandwidth modes.

The 16PPR encoder extended to 64PPR means 640hz per knob turn with 10hz step.  This is a disappointingly low pulse rate and slow tuning rate for those of us who might like to tune with a knob and not the touchscreen.  For comparison, the Elecraft K3S main tuning knob is selectable for 100, 200, or 400 PPR.
