Need technical support from FlexRadio? It's as simple as Creating a HelpDesk ticket.
Screen missing slice and info but showing signals
Before 1.5 I never had this problem, happened a few times with 1.5 and now a few times with 1.5.1 Anyone ever had same problem? Once I restart all seems fine.
Sorry for the poor picture, I brightened it up as best as I could.

You have a moonbounce function?

which radio are you using?0

Dave,
I too have the 6300. This happens to me when I calibrate using 10 Mhz instead of 15. When the software returns from the cal routine, it has lost where it was. I simply select another profile and the problem is gone until next cal.0 -
Me too!!! I put in a helpdesk ticket and the tech said I didn't have a slice open. I tried to expliain To him that this happened when I started the radio from a clean shutdown. It has never done it again and flex has no means to read error logs etc. Thus I told him to close the issue.
Submit a helpdesk ticket...I will post who I spoke with when I get back to my personal pc Also a 6300 Is it me or 6300 seems to have more issues than the other units?0 -
What do you hear?
Could it be that the panadapter is showing the sampling though no slice-receiver is active?
If you create another slice-receiver is it a "B" (or should I say non-"A" slice-receiver)?
I had some profile issues going between the 6700 and 6300 that mimicked this and they cleared by creating new profiles and doing a full reset.
You might have something completely different though.

Here is the image of my issue... As you can see it was still receiving but I lost all audio and all controls went blank. The only way to fix this was to do a clear of the persistence db (complete reset to default of the radio)... Looks the same to me as Daves issue.
My helpdesk request number is Request #10817 if anyone wants to also reference this issue.0 -
Mike - when mine acted up the create slice-receiver was grayed-out, but yours looks clickable.
Can you add one clicking?
If yes, is it A or B or ??

Just a thought.

Tried that, double clicking and adding from the left, changing bands, etc. etc... nothing worked.0
-
Mike and Roy - I have entered a bug report on the existing slice not being recreated after running the frequency calibration.0
-
I have entered this report into our bug tracker for further investigation. Please report any additional information related to this specific issue in this community topic.

Expected you had - in my case they were also grayed out.
Hope it gets resolved soon!

Tim, What appeared to be a bug on my 6300 was squashed by a factory reset. Recreation of slice works now.0

Steve asks a valid question, in a problem I reported about a year ago about no panadapter getting created, when a panadapter was finally created all slices could be instantiated, except that first one, A. So to test Steve's question, create a new panadapter and see if the first slice I'd B,not A.0
-
If they are grayed out, you have orphaned slice/panadapter resources. Rebooting the radio will release them. Using any third-party GUI apps that may not be cleaning up after themselves?0

RRR. Thanks for the update.0
