Processor on Waveform modes

In SSDR 1.5, with FDV (FreeDV) mode, the processor is disabled.  With DSTR (D-Star), the processor can be enabled, but the Compression meter always shows full red (full compression).  What is happening here?  Is the processor attempting to compress the digital signal or is it still working on my voice audio?

    Do not use PROC or TX/RX EQ with waveforms.  It modifies the modem, not the encoded audio.

    If the processor and EQ are a problem on the waveform modes, should not they both be disabled?

    Yes, unless FRS is planning on modifying the waveform API to allow them to work on the encoded audio.  I am unaware of their plans.

    We are considering extending the waveform api to allow the passing of data to allow for the enable or disable of audio processing features.

    This would be very welcome.

    In general the idea of "switching modes" should be as inclusive of configuration changes as possible. 

    Otherwise an operator has to keep a check list of all the things to switch when doing a mode change.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
