I did not get a response from anyone about writelog setup on my last post.

Someone took the time to integrate sdr bridge to this software to make it function together.

what I am looking for is someone who is using this software to its full capacity to talk to and review setting for the 6500 to find what little button I don't have check marked correctly.

Any writelog users?

I'm in the same boat, Greg.  I'm a WriteLog user, but haven't gotten it integrated with the 6500 yet.

Write log works well with either sdrbridge or ddutil

What is ur issue.? BTW. Been using it for years. Also they just released a beta of a native version that does not need middleware.

    Greg,
First I'm a Flex newbie for only 3-weeks now and SOLD. I'm gathering the money now for my own 6500 (can't wait). Here's my comment. I was a 'died in the wool' Writelog user for years until K1N! We used Wintest on K5D and went right back to Writelog with NO hesitation. However, after learning N1MM+ for the DXpedition and operating with fellows on K1N that were a part of the + development and beta testing, Writelog was history for me.The more I used it on the island, the more I liked and appreciated its features. That my two-cents. Good luck.

I would like to see your setup also.  Ver 11.27 has an additional program for the Flex.  It works, but still cannot use the CW window on CW with my 6300.  Worked fine on my 5000!

I'd love some someone who has written up a Writelog "how to" to contact me off list.  We are interested in adding it to our HelpCenter (https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us)

I do not understand WL nor WT. N1MM classic and N1MM+ have always been my hands down favorites and their use/interface is straightforward.

Greg, if you go into writelog's download are you will the following reference:

WlFlex1128a.exe (2015/07/05) This is a WriteLog rig driver for the FlexRadio 6000 series rigs. With this rig driver WriteLog reads and controls Flex 6000 series rigs without need for the Flex SmartSDR CAT control and virtual COM ports and Kenwood TS-2000 rig emulation, etc. This rig driver is compatible with all WriteLog versions since 11.01. But WriteLog 11.27 recognizes additional interfaces in this rig driver that simplify WriteLog’s display of the Flex rig discovery results as well as certain error conditions.

Once you install these drivers your setup problems are over.
    Good Luck.

I tried installing the driver and it does not show up. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
