TCPIP API help

All,

I managed to use 90% of the TCPIP API to manipulate the radio, however I can not seem to figure out the PAN and Waterfall commands.  I'm trying to have my application modify the panadapter center frequency and the waterfall bandwidth.  However none of my commands seem to work.  Here are commands and error codes received.

c44|display pan 0x40000000 set center=28.464325

error code R44|50001000|

c44|display waterfall 0x42000000 set bandwidth=0.2

error code R44|50000016|

I did a "sub pan all" to get the stream IDs

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Any ideas?

William

I'm guessing from your comments that you are running SmartSDR and are trying to use the API commands to alter its display.

    That won't work.

Currently, the display features (pan adaptor and waterfall) are client specific and are not shareable across multiple clients.

This means that you cannot mirror a display across clients and you can't adjust one clients display from another.

    This is a limitation.

Ok thanks that's what I was suspecting.

I should also have mentioned that the radio only supports a single GUI client active at a time.
