Using DAX on multiple computers

Another DAX question. When trying to use two or three different computers on the LAN the only way I can get the DAX output (say channel one) on the programs on each computer, is to have the DAX control panel active on each computer (3 instances of DAX). and that seems to be a little bit buggie, but it works. I thought that setting the DAX signal on one channel would put the data on the LAN then you could pick the data off of any device on the LAN without a new instance of the DAX control. Where did my train (of thought) jump the tracks. Flex 6700, SSDR v 1.3.8.

DAX is the software interface that turns streaming audio from the radio into a Windows sound device interface, so it is required on each PC you want to interface to a digital mode app.0

DAX can be used in two main ways. One way is to use the DAX Control Panel which will request DAX data be sent to it from the radio and then it will send that data into a Windows sound card for use in a digital program. This is the "typical" way today and you must run the DAX Control Panel on each machine where you want to run this way.
The second way is to connect directly to the API on the radio. If you do this, each program can request a stream just like the DAX Control Panel or you can request that DAX sends the data to a broadcast IP on the local subnet. If you do it this way then any computer on the local network can see the stream.
The DAX Control Panel operates only in the first method (ask for a stream directly to the computer where it is running) because asking for a large amount of data to be broadcast on the local LAN could cause issues for computers not having any interest in DAX.0
