Flex 6700 in contest environment
Relay clicking when a close Antenna from another radio is Transmitting when receiving with the FLEX6700.
I HOPE this is some kind of protection for the FLEX6700 but I could be wrong, this happens from 80 watts and up with the other operator transmitting which pulses the Relay on the FLEX on voice peaks from the other Transmitter when the FLEX is in Receive mode.
So far this has not hurt the Receiver but I don't want to trash the FLEX if this is a problem using it in close proximity to another operator.
Thanks for any in-site on this

That may be the reverse power protection relay that kicks in somewhere around +24 dBm.0

That makes sense, I am sure it was at least +24 dbm,
Will it hurt anything or is there any external device I should purchase that you know of to help protect the 6700 from the high power like we use to use in the olden days with a couple back to back Diodes in the receiver loop?
Thanks again
