click tune direction

A minor confusion/annoyance: While searching for an expected QSO somewhere in a stretch of band about 50 or 100 khz I notice that when using click tune and 1khz steps set to snap to the step it goes to the next one LOWER instead of the expected nearest step. This makes it a bit harder to hit the desired spot instead of being on the wrong khz most of the time. I am embarrassed that it took me this long to realize that I wasn't quite as in-accurate in mouse positioning!

This looks to be a defect. I am looking into it.

The 1.2.1 release is SUPER!
OK and thanks. The stated problem appears to be ALMOST fixed (or maybe we got a new feature?!).
It does snap to the appropriately rounded stem UNLESS you click in the blue filter area on the screen in which case there is no snap to step.
Problem or feature?

This is actually a feature and not a defect. The presumption is that if you are click tuning inside of the active slice RX passband you are wanting to tune to that exact frequency. This is necessary for narrow band modes.1

Well, I consider it a defective feature! When poking around an SSB jungle I occasionally miss and need to go down in freq (On 40m!) 1khz but the exact click tune is essentially impossible to place on any specific desired frequency. I can see somewhat less than no use for this feature. I welcome and encourage enlightenment! Microsoft also makes a lot of questionable assumptions about what the user wants =(-
