Folks - love the new DAX which works great with regular audio into soundcard modes like FLDIGI, HRD, etc. ! Trying to use the direct I/Q output with CW Skimmer - has anyone succeeded? Just like with PSDR, I set up Skimmer: (1) to think the radio is a SoftRock-IF sampling rate 96 kHz (2) signal i/o in is the DAX IQ RX 1 device (3) audio i/o to my PC speakers I just get noise through the speakers - no CW decoding at all... Any ideas?

I'm fairly certain there something in the release notes that says that DAX IQ is not yet available. I'm looking forward to it as we'll. 73 Greg Ab7r

Thanks, Greg - You're right - I'll probably just have to wait... The release notes say: US1963 Added TX/RX audio DAX In other words, DAX IQ is not specifically mentioned. The channels are just out there and very tempting to try to use!

DAX IQ is not currently supported in SmartSDR Beta v1.0.24. We do have the audio drivers which are installed with the other DAX "real audio" drivers which probably is what lead to your confusion.
