OK...I'll be the one to ask... What is the intent of the DAX button on the SSDR Menu?

That's digital audio exchange - the future "virtual audio cable" connection. Eager for it to be activated! It will allow audio routing to digital programs and remotes without external analog devices/wires.

thanks George.... There was a suspicion it didnt refer to the German Stock Exchange or Data Analysis Expressions. I kept seeing it in all the videos (no radio here yet) and never did run across an explanation of it. I'll bet I wasnt the only one wondering either.

Am I to understand that DAX will then allow rtty, psk without a added program such as Virtual Audio Cables? Or a Rigblaster or equivalent?

Yes, the DAX will allow interface between the Flex6000 and programs like Fldigi, Ham Radio Deluxe, EasyPal, etc without special hardware like Rigblaster, or SingaLink.
