Multiple Digital Sessions on Different Modes, Frequencies, Bands

MULTIPLE DIGITAL SESSIONS: Given the potential for creating up to eight receivers in the 6000 series is there a method to couple each receiver to a different audio output thereby enabling observation of eight different modes/bands/frequencies of digital traffic? I've played around with using the right and left outputs for two. I feel some method, probably a form of multiplexing on a single physical output, would be an approach that can be implemented in the software.

I can't speak for Flex but I don't think it is possible to do with the hardware audio ports that are available... However, it should be do able when Virtual Audio ports (DAX) becomes available. We shall see.. AL, K0VM0

I would like to at least be able to have a receiver slice directed to the DAX (and not to the speakers) while I am browsing other bands. The slice directed to the DAX could be connected to WinLink2000, SSTV, EasyPal, fldigi, or HRD etc. and I wouldn't miss a bit when the transmission starts due to me off browsing, and the DAX would not get pick up noise from the other slices That are open.0

My guess is that DAX will end up making a virtual sound card for each slice. This would give you 8 distinct In/Outs to tap into each slice. There may even be a interconnection configuration page to bind specific virtual sound cards to a slice or band or mode perhaps. Thinking aloud here...1
